Just a note about scriptures. We have been having difficulty getting bonded leather scriptures, especially blue. I have talked with Distribution Services. They have informed me that they are changing suppliers for the leather. So, while it is not easy to come by blue right now, it should get easier as they transition to the new supplier. They must sell out of all the current stock before they can make the change. We strive to have a full line of scriptures for your convenience, so we appreciate your patience while this change is happening.

Local artist, Allen Givens, is making these incredible vials for your consecrated oil. They are larger, so they fit your hand nicely, and hold a little more oil. We currently have 12 different woods to choose from in stock. He is also willing to do a custom set ( oil vial and pen/pencil) of a wood that you specify, perhaps from your mission, or where your missionary will be serving. They are beautiful enough for Ladies as well, it’s not inappropriate for ladies to carry oil. Being prepared is always a good thing. Come on in and pick up a new oil vial. Selection varies.

‘Glory’ the new album by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir should be in the store early next week.
Hillary Week’s newst album, “Every Step” is doing well on the charts. “Every Step” is a lot more musically developed than her previous albums, and we think it’s a winner. Lots in stock.
“Choose the Right” music for children 2012 is here as well.
Elder Bednar’s interactive book ” Increas in Learning” is back in stock.
Rocky Steele, author of “Forgotten Champions” has local roots. We have a local craftsman who makes exquisite wooden pens and pencils. They are beautiful, and would make a wonderful gift. He is also making for us, hand-turned oil vials, which are very nice, and would make a beautiful stocking stuffer for the priesthood holders in your home. We are taking orders for them now, please let us show you when you come in.
We are expecting more copies of Elder Bednar’s book “Increase in Learning” on Monday, so please make sure you reserve your copies. And “The Testimony Glove” is back in stock.

| ‘Twas the week before Christmas
And all through the house
All the creatures are stiring, including the mouse |
All the stockings were being hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that soon there would be gifts in there.
Ma in her apron and I in my cap were hustling and bustling without any fun, wracking our brains for what could be done. Toys wouldn’t do, no we needed something more, something inspiring to help them remember the truths we cherish in the month of December.
Away to the door I flew like a flash, “We’ll go to the bookstore, we really must dash! They will help us, I know with gifts for our list. For neighbors and friends, hometeachers, I know, this list is long, we really must go!”
The Brass Plates is the place were we can feel safe in giving our gifts, things that won’t chafe. Inspiring movies and music on disc, calendars, and watches that say “CTR”, art, and books by Elder Bednar! We will get it all done, I know that it’s true, those ladies in there know just what to do.
Now dash away, dash away, dash away all, we’ll get in the car, but NOT to the mall. We’ll hurry in for the greatest selecion, (and maybe some help for gifts without detection.)
Laman and Lemuel, Nephi and more, stocking stuffers you can only find at our little store. Gifts for the little ones, our teenagers too, to help them remember what Christmas is for. The birth of our Savior so lovely and dear, a gift from our Father, who sent Him here. So grateful, we are, for this precious gift, to celebrate without Him, would leave us remiss.
